Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
Production Art Page 2
Paul Zastupnevich's publicity art from season two.
Crusty the Crab.

Kin of Krusty the Krab?

The artwork on this page is very similar in style to that which Paul Zastupnevich created for various marketing projects--in particular, children's picture puzzles released in the mid 60s. Above, crustacean-like creature gets a stare, one assumes, of disbelief from Seaview diver. This production art seems unusual, as does the one below, for it's lack of Seaview's presence, seemingly unusual for a production which so stressed its hardware.

Big Pink Thing.

The above looks very similar in style to artwork Paul Zastupnevich created for various marketing projects--in particular, children's picture puzzles released in the mid 60s.  This and the painting below are interesting in that Seaview is nowhere to be seen, unusual, it strikes me, for a series that accented its hardware.

I want your toy submarine, boys.
